LISA CHRISTIANSON

OWNER & LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER – Visual Storyteller. Army Veteran. Creative Soul.

I am a portrait and headshot photographer with a passion for capturing genuine connection and personal charisma through the lens. My photography journey took me through getting my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Photography from The Art Institutes International, followed by an invaluable mentorship under Jen Kelly at KeliComm. During that time, I had the incredible opportunity to attend training with headshot master Peter Hurley, which helped shape my approach to expression and presence in headshots.

Since 2009, I’ve specialized in creating bold, authentic portraits using both natural and studio lighting techniques. I’ve been a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America since 2011, and my work has been published in Elegant Magazine, Highlands Ranch City Lifestyle Magazine, and The Top 100 Magazine.

I served for 11 years in the U.S. Army as a Nutrition Care Specialist, with duty stations across the globe such as Ft. Carson CO, Landstuhl Germany, Ft. Lewis WA, and served on deployments to Kuwait and Iraq. That experience taught me discipline, compassion, and a deep appreciation for different cultures; perspectives that continue to influence my creative work today.

I’m a proud mom of three lively kids and wife to my wonderful husband Rodney. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me reading, candle making, crafting, gardening, or hiking with my family. Whether indoors with a book or outdoors on a trail, I believe creativity and curiosity should never stop growing.

ABOUT AARON SAGER

ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER – Lifelong Learner. Army Leader. Adventurer at Heart.

I am a photographer and lifelong adventurer with a deep appreciation for capturing life as it happens. I grew up in the heart of Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood (Squirrel Hill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and began my photographic journey informally, camera in hand, while serving as an Army Lieutenant in Europe. What started as a way to document my travels and friendships, events and scenery, evolved into a love for storytelling through images.

I’ve served over 30 years in the U.S. Army, including 10 years on Active Duty with assignments in Germany, the former Yugoslavia, and South Korea. Today, I continue my service as a Comptroller with the 108th Training Command in the Army Reserve. My professional background also spans finance, leadership, and education; skills I bring with me both in and out of the studio.

I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado, an M.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. I also completed the Army Comptroller Course at Syracuse University.

Since moving to Castle Rock, Colorado in 2013, I’ve embraced the mountain lifestyle. Outside of photography, I enjoy skiing, golf, CrossFit, traveling, socializing and spending time with my two amazing kids. Whether I’m behind the lens or out on the slopes, I’m always seeking new ways to experience and capture the adventure in everyday life.
